And for cheese lovers the festival in Sand in Taufers is an absolutely must: For three days about 100 producers coming from all over Europe present here nearly 1,000 tasty and mild cheese specialities.

Visitors can taste, buy and watch caseation and kids can participate in blind cheese tastings. Finally, cheese tastes have nearly no boundaries: Cheese can taste spicy or mild, it can be rich or almost non-fat. Cheese is an all-rounder and it is inevitably connected with South Tyrol and its mountain pastures.
