Sterzing in upper Eisacktal is situated in the central Alps. However, it is easily accessible by car or train. Only two minutes on foot from the medieval city centre of Sterzing, a modern gondola cableway quickly transports winter sports lovers on top of Mt. Rosskopf.

In fact, Rosskopf skiing area offers perfectly prepared descents for the whole family. As a member of Ortler Skiarena and Wipptal ski network, you can also enjoy limitless ski fun in many other skiing areas in the environs.

Day and night tobogganing

The longest and lit toboggan run with guaranteed snow conditions awaits tobogganers each day and once a week at night as well. 10 km of perfectly prepared runs will delight all passionate snow lovers.

An evening stop at the comfortable mountain huts, spoiling their guests with the perfect mix of Alpine and Mediterranean specialities, is always a must during your winter holidays.

Winter holidays for any taste

On top of Mt. Rosskopf, you can enjoy a fantastic panoramic view going from the Zillertal Alps over the Dolomites to Stubai Alps. A six kilometres long cleared winter hiking path is ideal for hiking lovers.

As well, the historical city centre of Sterzing offers a relaxed atmosphere for shopping and sightseeing tours. Balneum Sterzing with its pools and spa awaits its guests with bathing and sauna experiences oaf a very special kind.
